	Exhibitions Dumbo Arts Center presents a year-round program of exhibitions each year in its 3,000 sq. ft. gallery space. Curators are invited by DAC, or since 2007, are selected through an annual open call process. DAC seeks proposals base on a sound intellectual premise and take an innovative, experimental approach to exhibition making and/or are site responsive.
	The D.U.M.B.O Art Under the Bridge Festival® The annual Art Under the Bridge Festival is the single largest urban forum for experimental art in the United States, transforming the distinctive waterfront neighborhood into a multi-sensory public art arena. The event involves the participation of approximately 1,500 artists from all disciplines of visual art and attracts over 150,000 visitors to the neighborhood of Dumbo each year.
	Artist Opportunity Workshop Launched in 2005 in response to demand by young artists, the free career advancement workshop involves three days of intensive networking, panels and discussions on resources for artists just embarking on a professional career.
	High School Festival Internship Program The Dumbo Arts Center (DAC) is pleased to announce its pilot High School Festival Internship Program beginning in July 2009 as part of the 13th D.U.M.B.O. Art Under the Bridge Festival ®, September 25-27, 2009. During its three-months of pre-production over the summer months, the Festival provides a unique opportunity to integrate students from area high schools into its multi-faceted, complex and creative challenges, while enhancing the aesthetic experience of art and the environment, instilling civic pride, encouraging creative thinking and problem-solving as well as learning new skills.
	Outer Space NEW PROGRAM! Conceived to expand Dumbo Art Center's use of the public domain in Dumbo, independent of the Festival and throughout the year, Outer Space caters to experienced mid-career artists, providing them with the opportunity to create long duration site-specific solo commissions.
