Leap Year Benefit - Silent Auction

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Jieun Zaun Lee-Choi studied Visual Communication Design at Seoul National University, in Seoul, South Korea. She received a BA in philosophy from Alfred University in Alfred, NY and a BFA in painting from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. In her artwork, Lee-Choi applies a logical system to the practice of painting, aiming to reveal the continual exchange between the rational and the irrational. Lee-Choi has exhibited in South Korea and the States and received the Cultural Merits Award from HanYang Cultural Foundation in NY in 2008. Jieun Zaun Lee-Choi has lived and worked in New York City since 2003.
