Jill Levine was born and lives in New York City. She received her MFA from Yale University in 1977. Her first solo show was in the East village in 1987 and she is currently represented by the PPOW Gallery in Chelsea. She received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2000 and a NYFA Fellowship in 2005.
