Jessie Lehson received her MFA in Sculpture from the Rinehart School of Sculpture, Maryland Institute College of Art. Her work is concerned with hand making and craft as well as environmentalism and meditation. The source material for this drawing are the rings of a spruce tree and is drawn with hand made spruce charcoal.
